FirstCare has grown into one of South Africa’s leading Independent Courier Pharmacies, providing a discreet and safe service to patients. Years of training means we have high levels of patient support, advice on medication, and customer service.
We understand how to care for people and realize that our patients need easy access to a professional and compassionate team of Pharmacists who will attend to any medicine query in a confidential and professional manner. We have a passionate Multi-lingual call centre with dedicated teams per scheme and we can also label your medication in the language of your choice!
What We Do

All parcels are electronically tracked throughout our system. Schemes can view the
progress of all parcels via web-based interface total transparency
Courier Service
All scripts we receive are checked with Complienz, a program that shows us if any of your medications interact with each other causing dangerous side effects. We are then able to help you get your medication right.FirstCare uses Speed Services, XPS, and The Courier Guy. We do deliveries countrywide to any address – Urban or Rural and ensure your medication will be delivered within 48 hours providing authorisation and prescriptions are in order. All of our parcels are electronically tracked guaranteeing we know where your medication is and when it will be delivered.
Our Network
First Care forms part of the WeCare Network. This network consists of more than 1000 pharmacies countrywide. In case of emergency or in the event of a postal courier strike Firstcare Courier Pharmacy is able to refer the patient to one of these pharmacies in order that they may collect their medication.
